- Towing vehicle must be equipped with a hard top if it is an SUV. Coastal Marine Trailer Rental does not allow any type of sport-utility vehicle not equipped with a hardtop to tow Coastal Marine Trailer Rental equipment.
- Tow vehicle and trailer lighting must be operational at all times, day, and night. All Coastal Marine Trailer Rental trailers and towing are wired with a 4 or 5-way flat light connector.
- Must have a towing system that is appropriate for the vessel and trailer being towed.
- Must have a 2″ or 2 5/16 hitch ball (5,000 lbs. minimum)
- Correct size hitch ball required
- Must not exceed maximum allowable hitch ball height of 25″
- Must have external mirrors on both sides
- Must have fully operational lighting
- The maximum recommended speed is 55 MPH
- Load trailers heavier in front.
- Reduce normal driving speed.
- Wear a seatbelt.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
